Pros and cons of Cruelty Free Shopping Guide app for iPhone and iPad

Cruelty Free Shopping Guide app good for

Its an impotant app cause it helps you to find which companies dont test on animals. Thanx
Please also integrates with European brands!!! VERY IMPORTANT...THANKS 4U JOB
This app is extremely useful for determining which products are truly cruelty-free and which are simply a "feel good" subsidiary of a larger entity that still engages in animal testing elsewhere. Its quick and easy to use when I do my shopping at Fresh Market, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes. One small bug in this app. A product I scanned (Mrs. Meyers Hand Soap, manufactured for the Caldrea Company) had a small, pink-ish square next to the leaping bunny logo. A blue square is mentioned in the key as being a non-compliant company, but no mention is made of the icon I found.
I would also like to see a list of companies that are not cruelty free. It would be easier when I am looking at something and wondering if they are a company I want to give my money to if I could look at a list that has their name on it and not the other way around.

Some bad moments

Out of date information. Recommends a company that is owned by Loreal: a company that does animal testing
This app is useful if youre purchasing products on the already created list of cruelty free products...if you want to know whether something in a generic store is cruelty free and its not on their list youre better off googling.
How is burts bees in this list of cruelty free ??? It is cruelty to bees? Honey is not vegan so why would you have it in here? Cruelty free means no harm to anything or one does it not ???
You made an update recently but still have not removed Burts Bees. Because of this, i dont know if you have added brands/products that shouldnt be there. Id rather not go through the list to find out. I could do that without the app thus rendering the app useless. Please update the list and do some more research I do like the layout of it though
Your app consists of a variety of selections, however, a majority of companies that do not test on animals are missing. Such as The body shop does not sell products that are tested on animals. So is Marc Jacobs. Please add selection to your app to make it effective amongst the vegan community. Thanks.
As a dedicated vegan I was so excited to try this app out and was hoping to share it with others who are trying to make better consumer decisions. But the first glitch was when it asked me to sign the pledge which never loaded. I shut the app down. Reopened. Nope. Then I tried scanning a barcode and it froze then the same notification (about the barcode not being found) popped up 13 times before I finally shut the app down again. I really hope these bugs get ironed out because I absolutely love the idea of this app!!
